Based on ratings published by trusted online review sites as well as information from Bose QuietComfort's website, Bose QuietComfort performs average to better than average in terms of wireless streaming compared to other wireless over-ear headphone brands.

The online review website soundguys.com, gave Bose QuietComfort slightly below average ratings when it comes to wireless streaming versus other bluetooth over-ear headphone brands. See the full review on soundguys.com's site. From this review:

So first things first, nothing with the sound quality has changed here. Even though these have the Google Assistant and Android Oreo now has LDAC, aptX, and aptX HD support for higher quality streaming via Bluetooth—you won’t find that here. You need two to tango with these codecs so when one side doesn’t support a codec, they default down to the standard SBC which is the same as the original. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, the average person will probably find these more than great.

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphone adds a dedicated button for Google Assistant, but it can be programmed for other functions, too. Retains its predecessor's top-of-the-line active-noise canceling, excellent wireless Bluetooth sound and extra-comfortable design. Works in wired mode with included cord if battery dies.

The QuietComfort 35 headphones brought wireless operation to the iconic Bose noise-cancelling headphones for the first time – and while they've since been upgraded in the form of the QuietComfort 35 II, these headphones remain an impressive proposition.
